Geelong Tram No. 2
Friday January 26, celebrate the Geelong Tramway, by riding on two Geelong trams. Tram No. 2 was one of seven trams built for the tramway when it opened in 1912. Now fully restored, it only is used on special occasions, and Australia Day 2024 will be one of those days. We will also be operating Tram No. 13 built in 1915, a former Melbourne tram, which operated in Geelong as No. 30 from about 1928 to 1934. This tram was then transferred to Ballarat.
