New wheelchair ramp

With the assistance of the State Government we have received funding to build a ramp for wheelchair passengers. We are also closer to completing our wheelchair accessible tram, No. 1029, so by the end of the year the Ballarat tramway will be able to transport people with serious mobility needs for the first time since it opened in 1887. Construction of the ramp started in May 2023.
