This is a hand made wooden model of an State Electricity Commission (SEC) single truck tram. This model was made for the Bendigo Tramway in the 1970s, possibly for sale in their shop. The maker is unknown. From the collection of Tim Borchers and repaired for our display by Chris Phillips.

The original trams were built as open Californian combination style between 1915 and 1919. The open ends of the trams were closed in by the SEC in the 1930s. Ballarat Tram Nos. 13, 14, 18, 27, 28, 32 and 33 are typical of this style.
