Until 1948, the Connecticut Company operated streetcars and suburban services in many towns across what is known as “New England” in the USA.
One of the large suburban cars that operated in the New Haven area, is now preserved at Branford tram museum in operating condition.
The cap on display is what was worn by the motormen of this company.
