An accredited museum

The Ballarat Tramway Museum has again been accredited with the Australian Museums and Galleries Association Inc. This means we have been assessed in all areas of our museum’s operation. As one of the first volunteer Australian museums to gain this recognition, we are pleased that 2026 we have once again achieved achieved the high standards that AMaGA expect. Thanks to the large team of volunteers that make it all possible. And we always have a place for new people, so ask one of us it you are interested.
