Steam Train Rides

Steamrail will be running steam locomotives from the Ballarat Railway Station on Saturday 10, Sunday 11 and Monday 12 June 2023. Wave to the Ballarat locals and the lineside photographers while we take you back in time aboard The Vintage Train. The trips run 18km to the tiny country town of Lal Lal. Stopping just out of town, the train will then return you to Ballarat Station, passing high speed V/Line trains on the approach to Ballarat.

Ballarat Railway Station (Platform 2) departing Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023 at 8:45am, 10:05am, 11:25am, 1:25pm and 2:45pm. Monday 12th June 2023 at 8:45am and 10:05am.
